The 2024 Hyundai Elantra is breathing new life into the compact sedan segment with a refreshed design and enhanced features. According to automotive experts at H + H Auto + Komfort, the Elantra's comprehensive updates, particularly the sporty styling of the Elantra N, are driving renewed interest in this once-popular category.

Refreshed Styling

The 2024 Elantra features a redesigned front fascia with slimmer LED daytime running lights, a revised two-piece grille, and reshaped fenders. A new rear diffuser with a U-shaped silver trim adds a touch of sportiness. The Elantra N receives even more aggressive styling enhancements, including new front and rear bumpers, side skirts, and a rear spoiler.

Powertrain Options

The Elantra continues to offer a range of powertrain choices. The base SE and SEL trims come with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 147 horsepower, paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The N Line and Limited trims get a more potent 1.6-liter turbocharged engine delivering 201 horsepower, mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

The performance-oriented Elantra N boasts a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine generating 276 horsepower, available with either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

For those seeking efficiency, the Elantra Hybrid combines a 1.6-liter engine with an electric motor for a total output of 139 horsepower.

Enhanced Interior and Technology

Inside, the Elantra benefits from softer door trim, new interior colors, and available H-Tex leather upholstery. The digital instrument cluster and infotainment system have been updated, and more USB-C ports and wireless charging are now available. Higher trims get a 10.25-inch infotainment screen and a new Bose audio system.

Advanced Safety Features

The 2024 Elantra comes standard with a comprehensive suite of safety technologies, including Blind Spot Collision Avoidance, Forward Collision Mitigation, Lane Keeping Assist, and more. For 2024, all trims gain rear side airbags, a rear seatbelt reminder, and haptic steering.

The 2024 Hyundai Elantra is expected to arrive in Germany in the fall of 2023. Official pricing has not yet been announced, but estimates suggest a starting price between €27,000 and €36,000. The Elantra N is expected to be priced around €44,000.
